DESIGN: EDGE w/ 2812 ARCHITECTURE BUILD: EDGE

A stalwart fixture on the Mukilteo waterfront, Diamond Knot Brewery undertook a renovation to expand their pub to include a new kitchen, bar, ice cream/coffee bar, and family restaurant area. Located at the edge of Puget Sound within the shell of an old bus barn, Diamond Knot is beloved by locals for their beer and down-to-earth atmosphere. EDGE worked with the owners and 2812 Architecture to merge the character of the original pub with the new, enlarged restaurant space. Materials include rustic cedar paneling, custom steel work, and a serious chunk of reclaimed Douglas Fir for the new bartop. In additional to serving as general contractor for this project, EDGE also provided architectural detailing services and fabrication of custom wood and steel interior elements, including the bar, tap tower and tables.
