DESIGN/BUILD: EDGE
Located in the heart of Wallingford on a steep site, this new home is grounded by a circulation tower that connects all three floors with steel and Douglas Fir floating stair runs. Spaces are light-filled, taking advantage of south and west exposures. Structural elements were left exposed to express the different volumes within the home. Other finishes include polished concrete floors with in-floor radiant heat, custom steel work and fir detailing throughout, and walnut cabinetry.
